Are you that fine line between commercial finance who knows their FP&A from their P&L, a doer and a leader, al all round finance whizz, then this is for you.

A growing iGaming company (SportsBook and Casino) are looking for an ambitious Head of Finance to join an even more ambitious team, reporting into the CFO you will manage an excellent finance team, oversee budget across all departments and advise the business on strategic insights and analysis alongside BI. This is a highly dynamic environment with multiple license and markets enabling you to put your knowledge to excellent use and advocate for the department across the business.

This position is hybrid based in Malta.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Forecasting & Budgeting Genius:

• Own and enhance our forecasting game, develop a rock-solid quarterly forecasting process and get senior leaders on board.
• Build an annual budget that’s more than just numbers, focus on P&L while collaborating with our Senior Accountant for Balance Sheet and Cashflow planning.
• Work with the CFO to create a long-term financial strategy that aligns with our big-picture goals.
• Be the budget guru, from inception to execution, ensuring every department gets the right allocation after executive approval.

Reporting Rockstar:

• Keep the financials crystal clear with top-tier monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Dive into P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet insights, highlighting key variances and recommending action plans.
• Team up with BI experts and department heads to turn data into game-changing strategies.
• Own the audit process from start to finish (because let’s be honest, audits should never be an afterthought!).

Process Improvement Pro:

• Find and automate those pesky manual finance processes to make things more efficient.
• Spearhead system enhancements that streamline workflows and improve reporting.

Risk Management & Analysis Ninja:

• Work alongside the Senior Accountant to conduct an annual group risk analysis, because knowing the risks means owning the process.
• Help the CFO ensure the financial risk strategy is always two steps ahead.

Corporate Finance & Expansion Wizard

• Support the CFO with company valuations, managing data rooms, and corporate transactions.
• Be the go-to for banking and treasury support, working with banks, PSPs, and exploring expansion opportunities in new regions.

Finance Team Leader & Business Partner

• Foster a culture where finance is a true business partner, helping internal teams drive smart decisions and maximise ROI.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Support the CFO and executive team with special projects, because finance isn’t just about the numbers, it’s about growth and strategy and much more!

WHO ARE YOU?

Finance & Accounting Expertise

• You're a qualified accountant with 7+ years of experience in the gaming industry, bonus points if you’ve been in a leadership role!
• You know accounting procedures and IFRS like the back of your hand.
• You’re fluent in Xero (or similar accounting software) and Excel wizards would be extra welcome!

Strategic Business Partner

• You love working alongside different teams, helping them hit targets and smash business goals.
• You’ve got experience launching new channels, managing banking & PSP relationships, and ensuring everything stays compliant.
• You’re on top of business trends and always one step ahead in planning.

Leadership & Communication
