Title: Customer Insights Analyst – Retail & Experience Analytics (Contract)
Pay Rate: $59 - $63/hr
Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-month assignment
Hours: Full-Time
Summary:
We are seeking a data-driven Customer Insights Analyst to support a global retail organization in delivering actionable, customer-centric insights. In this role, you will analyze customer feedback and behavioral data to uncover trends, inform business decisions, and enhance customer experiences.
You will work within a fast-paced, collaborative team focused on amplifying the voice of the customer through data. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, skilled in storytelling, and comfortable working with large datasets to drive meaningful insights and recommendations.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback from ongoing survey programs
- Synthesize data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Transform complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders
- Develop presentations and communications tailored to various audiences, including leadership and frontline teams
- Present findings and recommendations through reports, meetings, and presentations
- Support custom research and analytics projects to inform customer experience strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align insights with business objectives
What You Bring:
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, market research, or a related quantitative field
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets (Snowflake experience preferred)
- Experience building dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or similar tools
- Solid foundation in research methods, statistics, and survey data analysis
- Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Experience working in ambiguous environments and structuring open-ended problems
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis or text mining
- Experience analyzing open-ended survey feedback
- Experience supporting global or multi-region programs
- Background in retail, technology, or customer experience analytics
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and formatting
