Barton Malow is seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Project Engineer to manage the new Wilson, NC Minor League Baseball Stadium project. • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of the stadium construction, ensuring the project stays on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with architects, subcontractors, and the project management team to review project plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Oversee daily on-site operations, conducting site visits to ensure work is performed to high standards and meets project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, RFI responses, and change orders.
• Assist with procurement and logistics, coordinating the delivery of materials and managing inventory.
• Review and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and building regulations.
• Identify and resolve issues related to design, scope changes, and unforeseen site conditions in a timely manner.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including the city of Wilson, design teams, and construction teams, to ensure project goals are aligned.
• Ensure that all quality control and assurance procedures are followed throughout the construction process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in construction project management or engineering, preferably with experience in sports facilities or large commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, project management principles, and contract administration.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar).
• Familiarity with local and state building codes and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing project challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to work on-site in Wilson, NC.
