- Develop a pipeline of qualified leads in the industrial construction sector (e.g., mining, energy, water, manufacturing).
- Attend industry events, bid meetings, and site visits to network and represent the company.
- Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to align on project scope, proposals, and client needs.
- Report sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to leadership.
- Represent the company professionally in a client-facing capacity.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Based in or near Kansas City, MO or Phoenix, AZ.
- Experience in business development or sales within the construction industry.
- Comes from a general contractor (GC) or subcontractor background.
- Familiarity with industrial projects is a major plus (e.g., oil & gas, mining, manufacturing).
- For the Phoenix position, understanding of the booming mining sector is highly preferred.
- Strong local network and a reputation for being a connector and deal-maker.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable with a high level of autonomy.
