Paid Search Strategist
Remote: Must be US based, prefer EST or CST

The Paid Search Strategist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing PPC campaigns for Blue Wheel clients, with a focus on DTC growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, launch, and manage paid search campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
- Build strategies that support client goals for customer acquisition, revenue, and return on ad spend
- Optimize campaigns through keyword management, bidding, audience targeting, creative testing, and budget allocation
- Use automation tools such as Smart Bidding, Performance Max, and SA360
- Run ongoing tests on ads, landing pages, and audiences to improve performance
- Use first party and third party data to refine acquisition and retention strategies
- Monitor performance, identify trends and issues, and take corrective action
- Create and present clear reporting using Google Analytics GA4, Looker Studio, and other analytics or attribution tools
- Own pacing, forecasting, and spend recommendations across accounts
- Partner with Client Services and other channel teams to align paid search with broader DTC and omnichannel strategies
- Write and iterate ad copy and coordinate with creative teams on assets that support performance and brand consistency
- Join client calls as the paid search subject matter expert and communicate results and recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands on paid search experience, ideally in an agency environment
- Google Ads and Microsoft Ads certifications
- Experience with SA360, Performance Max, and other advanced tools
- Strong skills in GA4, Looker Studio, and performance reporting
- Experience managing budgets across multiple accounts while driving measurable ROI
