  • Drive talent strategy: hiring, mentorship, performance management, and succession planning
  • Strengthen subcontractor and vendor relationships; negotiate strategic agreements
  • Ensure strong quality and safety culture across all job sites and operations
  • Lead customer relationships for key accounts and ensure repeat business through performance

Ideal Background

  • Comfortable interfacing with ownership/executive leadership, GCs, and owners

Required Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of commercial HVAC and/or plumbing systems and construction practices
  • Demonstrated leadership of managers/PMs/estimators/superintendents

  • Ability to lead across multiple job sites and priorities
  • Proficiency with construction tech/tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project/Primavera, Excel; ERP a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with design-build, negotiated work, or self-perform mechanical scopes
  • Background in service operations and maintenance agreements (if applicable)
  • PE license or strong engineering background (nice-to-have, not required)
  • Safety credentials (OSHA 30) and a track record of strong safety performance

Benefits (Typical)

  • Executive bonus/incentive plan
  • Vehicle allowance/company vehicle
