We are now looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO), Romania, who will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth business processes, and building a strong organizational culture in the local subsidiary.

We are seeking an operational leader with strong people management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to drive efficiency across teams. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Romanian and English, have experience in managing operations in the digital services/IT/SaaS sector, and be passionate about building engaged, motivated teams while maintaining high standards of customer service.

🔸 Key responsibilities 🔸

• Oversee and optimize daily operations of the Romanian subsidiary
• Coordinate local teams across departments (customer service, IT, marketing, administration)
• Ensure efficient processes, service quality and client satisfaction (NPS, SLA, response times)
• Develop and maintain a positive organizational culture and transparent communication with employees
• Implement and monitor operational policies, compliance and service standards
• Collaborate closely with management and stakeholders to ensure business continuity and growth

🔸 Your profile 🔸

• Minimum 7 years of experience in operational leadership roles within IT, SaaS, digital services or other subscription-based businesses
• Solid understanding of operational processes, service quality metrics and customer experience management
• Experience working in matrix organizations
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to motivate and engage employees
• Excellent communication and intercultural skills
• Fluent in Romanian and English (mandatory)
• Familiarity with IT/SaaS environments is highly desirable
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Romania and abroad if required
