Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• 7+ years of experience in  freight forwarding, all modes for import and export
• Ensure the operations department is running efficiently 
• Adhere to all transportation compliance regulations
• Implement processes to continually improve branch
• Accompany sales team on field calls, as necessary for business development
• Ability to understand department P&L
• Previous management experience with either import/export departments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Cargowise experience is preferred but not required.
• Optimize staffing productivity to assume best use of all resources
