Located in beautiful Asheville, NC,my client is seeking a full-time Project Architect/Manager for a growing creative team. The ideal candidate should meet the following desired qualifications:
• A licensed architect with experience of 5 - 8 years
• Background in multi-family housing, mixed-use, rehabilitation, and other commercial projects
• Proficient in Revit, Sketchup, and Photoshop - familiarity with Twinmotion or Lumion rendering software is a plus
• Solid understanding of sustainable design – LEED certification is not a requirement, but welcome
• Excellent graphic skills including hand drawing and sketching
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
• Thorough knowledge of the IBC and related building codes
• Understanding of commercial and residential building technologies, materials, and methods
• Collaborative nature, comfortable working with and supporting others
Responsibilities will include:
• Working collaboratively with Carleton Collins on conceptual project design
• Participating in all phases of project design and management from programming through construction administration
• Coordinating with and managing consultants
• Serving as a secondary client contact
• Managing project fees and staffing resources
• Assisting in business development
