Project Manager:


Experience: 8+ years, Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)


Duties/Responsibilities:


● Prepare proposals for engineering services, including fee proposals.

● Prepare qualifications for engineering services as required.

● Conduct engineering investigations and feasibility studies.

● Attend project kickoff meeting with client to determine the full project scope and client’s expectations.

● Complete in-house project summary sheet for the design team with all applicable project information.

● Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

● Collaborate with department Leads to ensure integrated project execution.

● Manage project budgets and ensure project billing is accurate and timely with assistance from the accounting department.

● Assist the accounting department with managing client accounts receivable.

● Review and coordinate MEP design documents for quality, code compliance, and constructability with industry best practices.

● Provide updates to clients on project progress, questions, concerns with MEP designs, and potential delays throughout the design process.

● Perform construction cost estimating as requested.

● Review and approve MEP shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs with support from department Leads.

● Conduct site visits as required to monitor project progress and resolve technical or scheduling issues.

● Attend construction meetings to provide support to the client during the construction process.

● Lead, mentor, and support team members and share technical expertise.

● Manage customer relationships to foster business development opportunities.

● Manage a staff of MEP professionals, including annual performance reviews.

● Attend weekly project review and scheduling meetings with department Leads.

● Attend monthly project closeout review meetings with department Leads.

● Attend marketing and business development meetings and events, etc.

● Participate in leadership team meetings to develop strategic plans consistent with the firm goals.

● Report regularly to the Principal of the firm.

● Represent the company at all times in accordance with the company Core Values.
