We’re looking for an experienced and well-rounded Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) to take a lead role in designing, reviewing, and delivering mechanical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, guiding project teams, and working directly with clients.

What You’ll Do

• Lead mechanical system design for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and/or specialty systems depending on project needs.
• Review, seal, and take responsible charge of engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Oversee project execution from early design through construction support.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure well-integrated designs.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout using industry-standard tools.
• Provide technical direction, mentor junior engineers, and support quality control efforts.
• Support field activities including site assessments, construction observations, and responding to RFIs.
• Communicate directly with clients to clarify project objectives, present design concepts, and provide expert recommendations.

What We’re Looking For

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience (preferably in building systems or MEP design).
• Strong understanding of HVAC design principles, mechanical codes, and construction practices.
• Experience producing and reviewing detailed engineering documents.
• Ability to lead projects, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Trane Trace
