About the Role

My client is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to lead firm-wide marketing efforts, including proposals, interviews, and brand strategy. This role is critical to supporting business development and positioning the firm for continued growth.

The ideal candidate has direct experience in architecture, engineering, or design, understands how projects are won, and can manage deadlines with precision and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all RFQ/RFP submissions, proposals, and interview preparation
• Collaborate with principals and project teams on pursuit strategy
• Develop compelling written narratives and messaging
• Oversee graphics, layouts, and visual storytelling
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality proofreading
• Manage deadlines across multiple concurrent pursuits
• Support business development initiatives and client-facing materials
• Maintain and evolve firm branding and marketing standards

Qualifications

• 10+ years of marketing experience in architecture, engineering, or design
• Proven success leading proposals and interview efforts
• Strong graphic design skills and visual sensibility
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
• Understanding of the architectural/design process
• Experience supporting business development efforts
