Summary: The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for providing civil engineering support for a wide variety of land development projects including residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, resort, recreation, infrastructure, and attraction.

 

General Responsibilities:

·        Prepare and oversee civil engineering design for site geometry, grading, drainage, roadway, water distribution, wastewater collection/transmission, parks and other civil improvements.

·        Prepare and oversee development of design drawings, technical specifications, reports, cost estimates and other project deliverables.

·        Analyze technical information, perform engineering calculations, and advance design concepts into effective and financially feasible engineering designs.

·        Author technical reports such as due diligence reports, feasibility reports, design reports, and technical memoranda.

·        Provide technical support throughout all project stages from request for proposal through final design and construction.

·        Serve as Engineer of Record for various projects and/or project tasks.

·        Prepare and participate in client meetings and presentations.

·        Provide leadership and guidance for engineering interns and technicians.

 

Required Education:

·        Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field.

·        Professional Engineering license.

 

Required Experience:

·        Minimum 5 years’ experience in planning, design and permitting of land development projects.

·        Effective oral and written communication skills.

·        Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

·        Highly organized with good time management skills.

·        Experience in the use of AutoCAD Civil3D.

·        Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, StormCAD, ICPR, HEC-RAS and other engineering design software.
