Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare construction documents, plans, and schedules from BIM models.
• Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, and MEP models to detect and resolve clashes.
• Assist in family creation, template maintenance, and model content development.
• Ensure models comply with company standards, project-specific BIM execution plans, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other BIM technicians to support design development and construction coordination.
• Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Maintain organized documentation and support QA/QC reviews of electrical models and drawings.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in BIM.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, Electrical Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in electrical drafting/modeling, preferably in a BIM-focused role.
• Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; knowledge of BIM 360 is a plus.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including lighting, power, fire alarm, and low voltage.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and detailing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
