Accounting Manager – High Growth Community Bank, Clear Path to Controller

In this role, you will own and lead the month-end close process, including multiple bank reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, prepaids, and the preparation of financial statements. You will serve as a key partner in day-to-day accounting operations and take the lead on a variety of ad hoc and strategic projects, including quarterly reporting, regulatory and internal documentation, and special initiatives that arise as the bank continues to grow. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in driving process improvement and technology enhancements. Bank leadership is progressive and forward-thinking, actively investing in new systems and tools to increase efficiency, scalability, and accuracy and this position will have meaningful influence in shaping those efforts.
This is an ideal role for a strong senior accountant ready to step into an Accounting Manager level position, or for an experienced Accounting Manager seeking a high-impact leadership role without heavy people-management responsibilities.
