Title: Civil Engineering Project Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA (hybrid)
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a client focused problem-solver to join our collaborative and innovative water resources team. Responsibilities include serving as the project manager and mentoring project staff; designing and leading water resources engineering projects; evaluating and analyzing existing projects; preparing reports, cost estimates, specifications, design plans, schedules, studies, and permit applications; performing QA/QC tasks; establishing and maintaining client relationships; working with clients to develop projects; preparing scoping documents, fee estimates, and marketing strategies for proposed projects; and assembling teams for specific pursuits. Travel will be required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering or related engineering field from an accredited college and at least seven years of relevant work experience
- If no degree, at least eleven years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
- Project management experience for flood risk reduction or site civil projects
- Experience preparing drawings and specifications for water conveyance and control, flood risk reduction, and/or site civil design projects
- Experience coordinating and managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Involvement with business development
- A CA PE license
