Rochester Corner Bar is looking for a Kitchen Manager that will work closely with the Head Chef to lead the kitchen and staff in co-creating the next exciting phase of growth for the team and provide exceptional customer food experience.

The Kitchen Manager Position

Rochester Corner Bar is looking for a Kitchen Manager to work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the Rochester Corner Bar kitchen operations and dining experience, including hiring and training for kitchen staff, coordinate with the Head Chef on menu offerings, establish relationship with vendors and negotiating pricing on food and supply orders as necessary, ensure kitchen is clean and exceeds all regulations, ensure presentation of food is to the highest quality and prepared to order in a timely manner.


For an individual to be successful as the Kitchen Manager, they need to have a high level of enthusiasm and passion for their work, ability to be self-motivating, and maintain good leadership for their team.


Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Kitchen Manager Position

· 5+ Years of experience working in a full fine dining or full service restaurant

· Management experience in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred

· Valid ServSafe Certification

· Excellent customer service skills

· Experience in negotiating with vendors/suppliers

· Experience with food budgeting

· Available to work weekend, holidays and frequent late nights

· Strong leadership and motivational skills

· Strong time management skills

· Knowledge of industry health and safety standards

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary based on skills and experience, bonus plan potential based on kitchen success, paid time off, discounts on products, and growth potential within the company. The Kitchen Manager reports to the Owner.
