The Environmental Health & Safety Director Position
The Environmental Health & Safety Director provides oversight to safety policies and procedures throughout the organization to ensure a safe work environment for all employees. The position also manages risk and provides various strategies to minimize risk both on and off job sites. The Environmental Health & Safety Director collaborates throughout the organization to develop and enforce safety standards, provide appropriate training to employees, and stay informed of updates to regulations and best practices.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities of the Environmental Health & Safety Director
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Construction Management, or related field
- OSHA 500 Certification
- Excellent personal relation skills and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, prioritizing them appropriately
Compensation & Benefits for the Environmental Health & Safety Director
The position is full-time and permanent with a competitive salary based on skills and experience. This position requires travel throughout the Midwest region to various Mid-Am locations, including Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off.
