F&B is involved in all things concrete, earthwork and site utilities related, including building foundations, concrete slab on grade, concrete elevated slabs, shored concrete slabs, industrial press pit foundations, concrete pavement projects, site development, to earthwork and pipework.


The Project Manager - DOT Position

This position will be designated to F&B’s Michigan office and support the overall growth of the Company and their backlog. The Project Manager leads Project Teams in the successful completion of construction projects, from the initial hand-off from Estimating through final completion and close-out. Project Managers are responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards and applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Project Manager

  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred, or equivalent in training and experience
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
  • At least five (5) years of construction experience in concrete construction
  • Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals.
