Sunrise Communications located in Onaway, MI, is a northern Michigan based MSO that offers high-speed internet, VoIP and cable television services. The Company is looking for both full-time & part-time Customer Service Representatives to join its growing team!

About the Position

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing information and educating customers on various Company services, both in-person, over the phone and through email communication. Every customer interaction provides the opportunity to project a favorable image of the Company to customers. In a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, no day is the same in this role!

This position offers flexible hours and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Customer Service Representatives work in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere so candidates must be able to work effectively on a team as well as individually. There are also opportunities for advancement within the Company and ongoing career development.

Entry level candidates who have demonstrated “grit” will be given serious consideration!

Targeted Experience, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in a customer service role in a similar industry preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and shift priorities quickly
  • Service-oriented and positive attitude
  • Strong computer skills required

Compensation, Benefits and Structure

The position is permanent and either full-time or part-time depending the candidate’s preference. The full-time schedule for this role is Monday through Friday with flexible work schedules for those hired part-time. The compensation range for this position is $25,000.00 - $40,000.00 which is dependent on the candidate’s experience and background.

Full-time roles offer a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability insurance, along with paid holidays & paid time off. After the first few weeks of training at the Company’s location, there is an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule.
