Position Overview
We are seeking a Process Engineer to analyze, design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role works closely with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations while supporting both existing product lines and new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes through data analysis and process modeling.
- Develop and implement process control systems and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to maximize production efficiency.
Engineering & Technical Support:
- Design, test, and implement new manufacturing equipment, tools, and systems.
- Support the integration of new products into production processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Monitor process performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Support compliance with quality management systems and relevant industry standards.
Collaboration & Training:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets and KPIs.
- Provide training to production staff on process changes and best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis tools (Minitab, Excel, AutoCAD, MATLAB).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
Preferred:
- Experience with ERP/MES systems.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, or FDA-regulated environments.
