Position Overview:
Reporting to the General Parts Manager and Branch Manager, the Outside Parts & Service Sales Representative is tasked with driving sales and service growth by building strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Equipment Sales Team to share and pursue potential leads.
- Engage with prospective clients through calls, emails, and on-site visits to foster relationships and secure sales.
- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and promote services.
- Work closely with the Service Manager and Shop Foreman to coordinate equipment servicing and troubleshoot issues.
- Diagnose equipment problems and recommend appropriate services or repairs.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Partner with internal teams to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.
- Continuously enhance product and service knowledge.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with relevant experience, or post-secondary education in office administration or a related field.
- Industry experience in a similar role.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer use.
- Availability to work over 40 hours per week as needed.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset.
