Accounting Technician

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to join our client's team, based out of the Charlottetown, PEI.


Responsibilities:


  • Accounts payable processing and reviews with ERP system.
  • Accounts receivable functions with volumes and deadlines.
  • Preparation of journal entries.
  • Various reconciliations and reviews.
  • Communication with tenants and/or vendors
  • ERP data entry.
  • Assist other team members when needed.
  • Work on Ad Hoc projects assigned by the manager.


Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:


  • Ideally, some experience in hands-on, bookkeeping and full cycle accounting exposure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs (Outlook, Excel and Word).
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Previous experience working in accounting is considered an asset.
  • A positive attitude.
