About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Copywriter & Content Marketing Manager to join its Content & Creative team for a high-impact, five-month engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile B2B technology writer who can move seamlessly between high-performing demand-generation copy and sophisticated long-form content. One moment you may be refining a 65-character LinkedIn headline; the next, developing a thought-provoking blog, web page, or campaign narrative.

The ideal candidate combines exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong understanding of B2B technology marketing, SEO, GEO/AEO, brand voice, content strategy, and AI-enabled content development.

AI is already an important part of the team's content workflow, so we're looking for someone who doesn't simply use AI tools—they understand how to build, manage, and improve LLM-powered content workflows while maintaining strong human editorial oversight.

What You'll Do

Demand Generation & Short-Form Copy

  • Own copy development for demand-generation campaigns, including emails, digital ads, landing pages, social content, and promotional assets.
  • Write concise, compelling digital-first copy designed to engage B2B audiences and support campaign objectives.
  • Create, edit, and publish social media content through Hootsuite.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Adapt messaging across channels while maintaining a recognizable and consistent brand voice.

Long-Form, Web & Search Content

  • Develop compelling blogs, web pages, thought-leadership content, and other long-form assets.
  • Partner with the web and content teams to support ongoing content initiatives.
  • Incorporate SEO, GEO, and AEO principles naturally into content without sacrificing readability or brand voice.
  • Understand how content should change based on audience persona, customer journey stage, and position within the marketing funnel.
  • Balance search and AI discoverability with strong editorial storytelling.

Brand Voice & Editorial Standards

  • Maintain and consistently apply established tone-of-voice, editorial style, and naming guidelines.
  • Edit and strengthen content produced by others—not simply create content from scratch.
  • Help ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across marketing channels.
  • Bring strong editorial judgment to content development and review.

AI & LLM-Powered Content

  • Manage existing LLM-based content projects using platforms such as Claude and Gemini.
  • Build new AI-powered copy projects and workflows based on style guides, briefs, and business requirements.
  • Translate brand standards into effective instructions and frameworks for LLM-powered content creation.
  • Apply strong human-in-the-loop editorial judgment to ensure AI-assisted content meets quality and brand standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the speed and effectiveness of content development through responsible use of AI.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of B2B technology copywriting and/or content marketing experience.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating both:
  • Short-form work such as social, digital advertising, email, and demand-generation copy.
  • Long-form work such as blogs, web content, thought leadership, and whitepapers.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience editing and strengthening other writers' work.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and the ability to optimize content without compromising voice or readability.
  • Familiarity with emerging GEO/AEO content practices.
  • Hands-on experience using LLM-based content tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to create custom GPTs, AI projects, or similar content workflows from a brief or style guide with minimal direction.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, or enforcing brand voice and editorial style guides.
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project-management environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related discipline preferred.

Who Will Thrive in This Role

You're likely to excel here if you're a self-directed, highly adaptable writer who enjoys both the craft and strategy behind great B2B content.

You can take an assignment from brief to finished product with minimal hand-holding, confidently manage a full workload, and collaborate effectively across content marketing, SEO, social, web, creative, and technology teams.

Most importantly, you're comfortable working in an evolving environment where traditional editorial excellence and emerging AI capabilities increasingly intersect.
