Food & Beverage Manager
Under the guidance of the Director, Food & Beverage and the Director of
Venues, the F&B Manager oversees all F&B operations in the hotel.
The F&B Manager carries out supervisory and managerial responsibilities
in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Primary responsibility will be to offer 5 star service to hotel
esteemed guests. Other responsibilities include interviewing and training
employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising
performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing
complaints and resolving problems
• 3-5 years Food & Beverage management in luxury world class
hotel.
• 3-5 technical Food & Beverage experience and/or equivalent
combination of education & experience.
• Exhibits a positive and energized professional presence, well-
groomed appearance.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Effective problem solver and self-starter who requires minimal
supervision and is comfortable working in a fluid work
environment.
• Works collaboratively with others and builds trust with
colleagues.
• Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days,
evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Clear fluent conversational English and writing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as recipes,
memos, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,
and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and requisitions.
• Ability to respond to and creatively resolve guest inquiries or
complaints.
• Local 6 experience
• Forbes Five Star experience
• Experience in scheduling, payroll systems desirable
• Experience in F&B systems such as POS, Booking platforms
• Experience in luxury properties, specifically in restaurant and
bar operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Functions:
• Coordination of entire service to include:
• Staff scheduling
• Set-up, inspection, operations, guest relations, & clean up of outlet
• Handling of guest requests, troubleshooting, & complaints
• Know all In-House and VIP guests
• Conducts daily roll call shift meetings
• Assign shift teams, side work, and stations
• Report & submit completed daily shift operations to the Restaurant Manager with notes on all
action taken & follow up
• Complete & compile Maintenance & Housekeeping request forms; report status of said
requests
• Attend weekly/monthly Food & Beverage meetings
• Work hands-on while supervising shift operations
• Problem solving
• Cashiering & Money Handling
• Complete all Voids, Comps, Transfers, etc through POS system
• Assist in conducting staff meetings
• Thorough conversational knowledge of hotel history and statistics.
• Assembles and issues outlet shift requisitions.
• Strict adherence to uniform & grooming standards
