Outpatient Therapist

Compensation: $31/hour

Job Type: Full-Time | Flexible Hours

Our client in Nashville, TN is seeking a compassionate Outpatient Therapist to support the healthy development of children, youth, and families. In this role, you will provide individual and family therapy, helping clients navigate mental health challenges in a supportive, client-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Communication: Maintain therapy appointments, follow up on cancellations, and ensure all required documentation and signatures are obtained.
• Weekly Reporting: Assess ongoing treatment needs and provide weekly reports on treatment progress.
• Direct Care: Deliver child-centered, family-focused therapy, document therapy sessions and progress notes, and provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Coordination: Schedule and facilitate meetings with guardians to develop and update treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in a clinical mental health discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of paid full-time experience in the mental health field.
• Skills: Strong understanding of clinical issues related to children, adolescents, and families. Familiarity with child-serving systems is preferred.
