Physiatrist
Compensation: Competitive guaranteed salary, commensurate with experience + bonus opportunity: 100% of practice profits
Job Type: M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM; Call required 7 days per month. Extra pay for extra call.
Our client, a respected and well-established medical center in Georgia, is seeking a Physiatrist to join their pain management clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for a fellowship-trained physician to join a single-specialty, APP-supported practice focused on high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will join immediately following fellowship training and will benefit from robust mentorship and clinical support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients requiring physical therapy or interventional pain management
- Diagnose pain and physical limitations stemming from injury, disease, or chronic disabling conditions
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Perform procedures such as disc decompression, prolotherapy, and vertebroplasty
- Lead a multidisciplinary care team, including physical and occupational therapists
- Counsel and educate patients and families on lifestyle adaptations and long-term care
- Provide support tools and interventions to improve function and quality of life
- Engage in clinical research and continuous learning to enhance patient outcomes

Job Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Completion or near completion of a PM&R residency with pain management fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible (must achieve board certification within 5 years if eligible)
- Georgia Medical License or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- Must be in good standing with current residency or fellowship program
