Family Nurse Practitioner

Compensation: $120K-$150K pr/yr

Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week.

Our client a well established community health organization in Bronx, NY is seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to add to there team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a positive experience for patients.
• Possess considerable medical judgment and an advanced level of competency in nursing.
• Providing primary care to patients
• Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
• Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
• Communicating test results to patients and their families
• Recording patient medical histories

Job Requirements:

• BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school
• NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified/Eligible (must take boards within 1 year of hire)
• 1+ year experience preferred, national specialty certification preferred
• DEA prescriptive privileges, Medicare/Medicaid enrollment preferred
