Assistant Director Of Nursing (ADON/ADNS)

Compensation: $130K-$160K pr/yr

Job Type: Full-Time and In-person position, Day shift, Monday - Friday

Collaborating with a Long Term Care/Rehabilitation Facility in Far Rockaway Queens, NY that is currently seeking a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON/ADNS)

ADON/ADNS Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports delivery of high-quality resident care.
• Creating a culture where highly engaged team members are able to contribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally.
• Assuring the best resident care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel
• Serving as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management
• Making decisions regarding nursing and unit problems
• Attending and supervising wound rounds weekly
• Participating in facility surveys
• Communicating effectively with staff, physicians, and resident’s families

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid RN license in New York State
• 2+ years Long-term care experience required
• 3+ years Supervisory experience required
• Infection control certification (nice to have)
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
