Physical Therapist (PT)

Compensation: $70K-$78K per year

Job Type: Full Time. Monday - Friday. Day shift.

Our client, a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for their Queens, NY location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations to assess physical challenges.
• Provide treatment and ongoing assessment for preschool children (ages 3-5).
• Perform initial evaluations, annual reviews, and quarterly progress reports.
• Maintain thorough documentation, including session notes and parent training records.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support each child's physical development and functional abilities.
• Participate in team and department meetings to ensure coordinated care.

Job Requirements:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program 
• Current New York licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
