About Our Client

ErthSearch is working with Coral, a startup at the intersection of climate and fintech dedicated to making sustainable building upgrades like heat pumps and EV chargers affordable. Their mission is to accelerate the electrification of the built environment through innovative financing solutions.

The Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will own end-to-end feature development from ideation through deployment to increase sales of energy-efficient solutions. You will write and review code across the entire stack while making key architectural contributions that shape the technology roadmap. Working closely with the founders, you will influence product strategy and gain exposure to all aspects of a growing startup business.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails or similar full-stack frameworks.
• Proven ability to design systems from scratch, taking products from 0 to 1 and successfully scaling them.
• Strong expertise in database design and management to ensure robust data architecture.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to balance product and technical requirements within a team.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity environments.

Nice to Have:

• Deep familiarity with modern web application development practices and best standards.
• A strong interest or previous experience working with AI, ML, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Previous experience navigating the unique challenges of an early-stage startup environment.
• Experience strategizing around technical debt and evaluating "build vs. buy" scenarios for long-term growth.
