Our Client

This people-first organization is one of the most respected builders in the province. As a well-established, family-owned construction company they have decades of experience in providing comprehensive building solutions for residential, agricultural, and commercial clients. From its humble beginnings as a local lumber yard, it has grown into a full-service provider of design-build construction, ready-to-move homes, and building supplies. Every project is handled with care, by a team of passionate, community-minded people united by a shared commitment to doing good work for good people.

The Opportunity

As Shop Manager, you’re the one taking the lead in running a busy mechanic shop. The leader that ensures every truck, machine and piece of equipment is safe, reliable and ready to roll. This isn’t a job where you are tucked away behind a desk, but a role where you are balancing being on the tools with overseeing shop operations, coordinating parts and repairs and guiding the next generation of mechanics. You will work side by side with company leadership in a family-owned business that values people as much as performance.

If you are looking for a role where your personality, problem-solving skills and commitment to service will define not only your success but the success of the entire operation, this is your opportunity.

2. Equipment & Fleet Maintenance

  • Diagnose and repair company equipment, heavy trucks, and machinery.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance including parts ordering to stay ahead of issues.
  • Handle urgent breakdowns and emergencies, ensuring a quick turnaround to keep projects on track and minimize downtown.

3. Team Development & Mentorship

  • Lead and mentor apprentices, providing technical guidance to ensure their growth and development.
  • Support a customer service driven culture within the shop, ensuring internal departments receive reliable, responsive support.
  • Support succession planning and staffing adjustments as the team evolves.

  • Customer service mindset, understanding that equipment uptime directly supports internal teams.
  • Positive, steady personality with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving team-focused environment.
