THE ROLE

STRIVE Recruitment is working with a versatile legal firm who focuses in areas such as business, insurance, and personal litigation. Our client is a Canadian based firm and they are looking for a Trust Accounting Clerk for their location in Vancouver.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cheques and wire transfers, ensuring proper authorization is obtained.
• Handle deposits, coordinate bank wires and cheques, and complete all related trust administration paperwork.
• Record and track trust wire and administration fees.
• Manage daily trust transfers for invoice settlements.
• Reconcile and post incoming trust deposits, including those received via credit card.
• Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative or related role; prior experience within a professional services environment is an asset.
• Familiarity with BC and ON Law Society regulations, trust accounting, iManage, and/or Elite 3E is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
• Sound judgment and professionalism in all interactions.
• Skilled in problem-solving and adapting to shifting or competing priorities.
• Able to perform efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
