A growing industrial automation organization is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and support control systems for custom equipment and manufacturing processes. This role will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and field teams to ensure systems are reliable, efficient, and aligned with client and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and program PLC, HMI, and control systems for industrial equipment
• Develop electrical schematics and panel layouts
• Support system integration, testing, and commissioning activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues in production and field environments
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
• Provide technical documentation and support for ongoing system improvements

Qualifications:

• 3–8+ years of experience in industrial controls or automation engineering
• Proficiency with PLC programming and HMI development platforms
• Experience with electrical design and industrial communication protocols
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
