A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to provide technical expertise in support of the sales process. This role partners with sales, engineering, and operations teams to develop customized solutions, prepare technical proposals, and ensure alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer specifications and project requirements
• Develop technical solutions and system configurations to meet client needs
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and technical documentation
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams
• Support product selection, sizing, and application design
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits as needed
• Assist with project handoff to engineering and production teams
• Monitor market trends and provide feedback on product improvements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, or related field
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineered-to-order environment preferred
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred
