A rapidly growing, innovation-driven power electronics company is seeking a Chief Engineering Officer to lead global engineering strategy and execution. This executive will oversee all engineering functions, including product development, systems architecture, hardware and firmware engineering, validation, and technical roadmap planning.
The Chief Engineering Officer will partner closely with executive leadership to align engineering initiatives with business objectives, market expansion, and long-term innovation goals. This leader will drive scalable processes, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and build high-performing technical teams capable of delivering complex power conversion and energy management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the company’s engineering vision and long-term technical roadmap
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across hardware, software, firmware, and systems
- Drive new product development from concept through commercialization
- Establish and optimize engineering processes to improve quality, speed, and scalability
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure product-market alignment
- Oversee compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier engineering talent
- Manage engineering budgets and resource allocation
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of engineering leadership experience within power electronics, energy systems, or related industrial technology sectors
- Proven success leading complex product development initiatives
- Strong understanding of power conversion technologies, grid-tied systems, or energy storage applications
- Experience scaling engineering teams in a high-growth environment
- Strategic thinker with strong operational execution skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred
