Logistics Manager

Kaivac is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee domestic and international shipping while leading a small team of shipping associates.

The Logistics Manager oversees inventory, receiving, and shipping operations to ensure accurate management and timely, compliant freight movement. Utilizing logistics expertise and data analysis, they collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional service while developing strategies that enhance quality, control costs, and optimize performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree + 5–10 years logistics experience, OR 10–15 years commensurate experience.
• Strong knowledge of import/export, HTS codes, Hazmat, and customs clearance.
• Proficiency with TMS; ERP experience a plus.
• Supervisory experience (up to 10 direct reports).
• Collaborative, people-oriented leadership style.

What You’ll Do

• Classify materials for import/export and obtain HTS codes.
• Negotiate with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Manage shipping documentation and bills of lading.
• Supervise a team of shipping associates.
• Support ERP transition over the next 1–1.5 years.
