Completions & Servicing Manager

A growing UK mortgage lender is seeking an experienced Servicing Support professional to join its Operations team. This is a hands-on role covering a broad scope of post-completion and back-book servicing activity. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational experience in mortgage servicing and be comfortable working across both tactical day-to-day responsibilities and contributing to strategic improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

·        Support all aspects of mortgage servicing, with a particular focus on Prime completions and back-book management.

·        Act as a key point of contact for post-completion queries and servicing escalations, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

·        Coordinate with third-party administrators, solicitors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant servicing processes.

·        Maintain and monitor operational servicing data, producing reports and tracking against service level agreements (SLAs).

·        Identify process inefficiencies and support the implementation of improvements.

·        Assist with strategic projects aimed at developing and scaling the servicing function.

·        Ensure all servicing activity is conducted in line with relevant regulatory and internal policy requirements.

Required Experience & Skills

·        Proven experience within the mortgage industry, specifically in Prime completions and servicing.

·        Strong working knowledge of post-completion servicing processes and back-book operations.

·        Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

·        Comfortable managing a variety of tasks — from administrative duties to contributing to higher-level servicing initiatives.

·        Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

·        High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.

·        Ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment and take initiative.

Desirable Experience

·        Experience working in a startup or early-stage lending business.

·        Familiarity with loan servicing systems and third-party servicing models.

·        Understanding of broader mortgage lifecycle areas such as redemptions, product transfers, or collections.

Additional Information

·        This role is London-based, with flexibility for hybrid working arrangements.

·        The role would suit someone who is currently overqualified for some of the day-to-day work but is motivated by the opportunity to help shape the servicing function as the business grows.
