Title: Account Executive, Strategic Fintech


Location: Hybrid (New York, NY)


Reporting Structure: Reports to the US Fintech Manager

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-potential fintech companies and implement prospecting strategies to generate new business opportunities. 
  • Build and expand a strong network within the U.S. fintech community. 
  • Sell effectively to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Build trust and credibility with customers and internal partners
  • Simplify complex contractual, technical, and financial details for a wide range of audiences
  • Own the sales process from start to finish, including:
  • Prospecting
  • Discovery
  • Product demonstrations
  • Stakeholder presentations
  • Proposal development
  • Pricing conversations
  • Negotiation
  • Contract execution


Partner closely with Customer Success to drive:

  • Customer expansion
  • Upsell opportunities
  • Cross-sell opportunities
  • Deeper product adoption across existing accounts


Is this you?

  • You have 4+ years of quota-carrying SaaS platform sales experience
  • You are entrepreneurial, resourceful, and results-oriented
  • You are comfortable balancing scrappiness with strategic thinking
  • You have a strong track record of:
  • Prospecting
  • Consultative selling
  • Running strong discovery
  • Closing business
  • You bring strong empathy, communication skills, and self-awareness
  • You can build relationships across a variety of stakeholder types and understand their motivations
  • You have strong sales process discipline and familiarity with structured methodologies, ideally MEDDPICC
  • You are collaborative and know how to coordinate effectively with both internal teams and external partners
  • You are highly motivated by goals and have a history of success against quota
  • You are comfortable selling technical products
  • You understand trends in the fintech product landscape
  • You are coachable, growth-minded, and actively seek feedback to improve 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at a Fintech or Regtech company
  • Experience selling into fintech customers
  • Experience navigating both technical and business buying processes
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies

  • Base salary: $130,000 to $165,000
  • Compensation structure: 50/50 base + commission (OTE likely $320k+)
