Title: Quality Inspector – Field Operations

Responsibilities
As the Quality Inspector – Field Operations, you will evaluate the quality of Throne's deployed restroom units and audit field operations across multiple markets, helping ensure consistent operational excellence as the company grows.
- Unit Inspections & Technical Auditing: Conduct detailed inspections of deployed Throne units, evaluating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, IoT, and overall product quality against established standards. Identify defects, maintenance issues, and quality concerns while verifying corrective actions during follow-up visits.
- Market Operations Auditing: Audit local market operations, including inventory management, warehouse organization, fleet condition, equipment readiness, cleanliness standards, and operational compliance. Build strong working relationships with local teams while maintaining objective, consistent quality assessments.
- Reporting & Documentation: Produce clear, structured inspection reports that communicate findings, trends, and recommended corrective actions to Technical Operations and local leadership. Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the company's growing quality knowledge base.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring trends across markets and partner with Central Technical Operations to improve inspection criteria, quality standards, operational processes, and audit procedures as Throne expands nationally.
Is This You?
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, technical inspection, or field operations
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or technical systems with the ability to evaluate equipment against established standards
- Experience conducting structured inspections or audits with excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Highly detail-oriented with a systematic, process-driven approach to identifying and resolving quality issues
- Comfortable reading technical documentation, specifications, and schematics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and operational teams
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with significant autonomy
- Willingness to travel up to two weeks per month to support markets across the United States
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ideal Candidate
- Experience inspecting field operations, infrastructure, facilities, fleet operations, manufacturing, or portable sanitation equipment
- Familiarity with IoT-connected devices or smart hardware systems
- Experience developing inspection checklists, QA documentation, or operational standards
- Formal QA/QC certification (ASQ, ISO, or similar) is a plus
- Experience using inspection management or field reporting software
