We’re hiring an SEO Account Manager – but make no mistake, this is a sales-driven role. The focus is on building new client relationships and driving revenue growth through SEO and digital strategy.
You’ll lead on outbound prospecting, pitch tailored SEO solutions to mid-to-large brands, and support the agency’s broader growth strategy. It’s a hands-on role suited to someone who understands SEO but thrives in a business development environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales
- Build and manage a sales pipeline, identifying and closing new opportunities.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies via LinkedIn, networking, and cold outreach.
- Pitch and present proposals to potential clients.
Client Relationship Management
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
- Manage inbound inquiries, ensuring repeat business and upselling opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams (SEO, PPC, Content) to ensure smooth client onboarding.
Market & Strategy
- Stay ahead of industry trends and digital marketing innovations.
- Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights to support agency growth.
- Contribute to refining sales strategies and positioning.
What’s Needed
- 3+ years of proven sales experience in digital marketing.
- Experience in a digital marketing agency (SEO, Digital Ads, Social Commerce, Digital Strategy).
- Strong industry network and ability to generate leads.
- Excellent pitching and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-driven.
