SEO Account Manager

We’re hiring an SEO Account Manager – but make no mistake, this is a sales-driven role. The focus is on building new client relationships and driving revenue growth through SEO and digital strategy.

You’ll lead on outbound prospecting, pitch tailored SEO solutions to mid-to-large brands, and support the agency’s broader growth strategy. It’s a hands-on role suited to someone who understands SEO but thrives in a business development environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Lead Generation & Sales

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline, identifying and closing new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies via LinkedIn, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Pitch and present proposals to potential clients.

 

Client Relationship Management

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
  • Manage inbound inquiries, ensuring repeat business and upselling opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams (SEO, PPC, Content) to ensure smooth client onboarding.

 

Market & Strategy

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and digital marketing innovations.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights to support agency growth.
  • Contribute to refining sales strategies and positioning.

 

What’s Needed

  • 3+ years of proven sales experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience in a digital marketing agency (SEO, Digital Ads, Social Commerce, Digital Strategy).
  • Strong industry network and ability to generate leads.
  • Excellent pitching and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-driven.
