Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers for port and rail container pickups and deliveries
• Coordinate appointments with ports, rail ramps, warehouses, and customers
• Monitor container availability, ERD/LFD dates, demurrage, and per diem
• Track shipments in real-time and provide status updates to customers
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Manage driver communication, route changes, and issue resolution
• Enter load details accurately into TMS and maintain shipment documentation
• Proactively resolve delays, congestion issues, or equipment shortages
• Work closely with operations and billing to ensure load completion and accuracy
• 2+ years of drayage or intermodal dispatch experience required
• Strong knowledge of port and rail operations in Texas markets
• Understanding of demurrage, per diem, and container flow processes
• Experience with TMS systems and load tracking software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
