Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispatch and routing operations
• Manage driver schedules, performance, and compliance
• Ensure adherence to DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery, fuel usage, safety metrics, and cost per mile
• Lead fleet utilization planning and equipment allocation
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment readiness
• Address service issues proactively and maintain strong customer communication
• Develop and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and profitability
• Hire, train, and develop operations and dispatch team members
• Foster a safety-first culture across all operations
• 5+ years of transportation or logistics operations experience
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing dispatchers and/or drivers
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and transportation compliance
• Experience with TMS systems and route optimization tools
• Proven ability to improve operational efficiency and control costs
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
