Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages construction administration phase for multiple projects
  • Directs Construction Administration activities on projects, monitors projects for construction document compliance.
  • Establishes project procedures, problem solving activities, budget reviews and certification needed. Initiates document revisions and project reviews, and processes changes orders.
  • Receives and distributes test reports.
  • Receives, analyzes, and responds to all form of construction documents
  • Prepares punch-lists and close-out procedures, and performs post-construction services and investigations as needed.
  • Maintains favorable working relations with client and contractor.
  • Act as the Prime Consultant by managing sub-consultants, presiding over construction meetings, and acting on the owner’s behalf.
  • Processes contractor questions to provide professional technical solutions
  • Initiates document revisions as required to communicate solutions
  • Processes change order proposals by justifying and estimating, and reporting to the client
  • Support the Commissioning process through witnessing and problem solving
  • Provide peer and constructability reviews of design development drawings

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensure or tradesmen accreditation within any related CSI Division
  • Five years construction administration experience

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of a jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and high incline stairs.
  • Will require inspecting equipment on all types of roofs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
  • May require travel.
  • Local travel in your own vehicle will occur weekly. Typically limited to day-trips up to 3 hours from BKM
  • Occasional overnight travel may include longer drives and/or air travel. Typically limited to once a quarter.
  • Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
  • OSHA Training will be provided; a passing grade is required.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
