WREGIONAL SALES MANAGER - WESTERN USA


Description

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for providing exceptional and proactive customer service and sales support for clients throughout the Western USA territory. The RSM will focus 50% of his/her time on channel management of current direct resellers, and indirect resellers purchasing through our distribution network. The RSM will spend 50% of his/her time focused on end user business development, including a direct touch approach in establishing life-long customers. The optimal candidate will drive market share creation that increases revenue quarter over quarter.


Candidate Qualifications

Pro AV experience required with relationships already in place. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to identify, develop, and manage strategic sales relationships and opportunities within the Pro AV and IT reseller channels. Candidate will exhibit rigorous strategic thinking around building such relationships, but with clear execution strength and solution selling skills. Candidate is an aggressive self-starter and possesses the organizational skills to leverage resources from the corporate staff as needed. Candidate will need a strong understanding of the Professional A/V, Networking, Collaboration, and IT value chains. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of sales experience with a focus on hunting and managing high level, complex client relationships from the supply chain down to the end user.

  • Ability to operate/work in a high growth & entrepreneurial environment
  • Motivated, hunter, self-starter who desires success
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions within established guidelines


Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing a territory covering West territories.
  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales initiatives for Pro AV and IT channels
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key players / decision makers
  • Represent at trade shows, end user events, and customer meetings to promote products
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities at the channel and end user level
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and project pipeline in Salesforce
  • Effectively manage current reseller and end user relationships
  • Work in a team sales environment at the regional level
  • Assist in resolving customer issues regarding sales and service
  • Perform other duties deemed necessary to support the Company’s business operations
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50%
