Our client—an industry leader in custom driveway gate systems—is seeking a Division Leader to build and run its Access Control Division as a standalone business unit. This is a rare executive-level opportunity for someone with deep access control expertise, a passion for innovation, and the leadership chops to grow a specialized team and business.
What You’ll Do:
- Take full P&L ownership of the Access Control Division
- Build and lead a high-performing team of technicians and project managers
- Shape technical and operational strategy, from system design to client experience
- Set and enforce standards for installation, safety, and system integration
- Oversee vendor relationships, equipment selection, and technology adoption
- Drive customer acquisition and lead key accounts across residential, commercial, and institutional markets
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in access control systems, ideally including driveway gate automation
- Strong working knowledge of gate operators, sensors, loops, and safety systems
- Proven leadership and project management experience
- Ability to design and install end-to-end systems (hardware, wiring, connectivity, software)
- Familiarity with UL325/NFPA codes and low-voltage standards
- Manufacturer certifications and industry contacts a strong plus
