Title: Director, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)

Location: Tolleson, AZ (or any U.S. Exentec location: TX, ID, VT, MA, OR, AZ) – Fully Onsite 

Compensation: $180,000 – $202,000 + 25% target bonus

What You’ll Do 

This role leads Environmental Health & Safety across multiple U.S. locations, driving strategy, culture, and compliance in a manufacturing environment. Other responsibilities of this position include: 

  • Lead and execute EHS strategy across multi-site, regional operations 
  • Drive a culture of safety ownership, accountability, and engagement at all levels 
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable safety standards 
  • Develop and implement safety programs to prevent incidents and mitigate risk  
  • Analyze safety data, trends, and metrics to drive continuous improvement 
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis 
  • Conduct site audits and assessments to ensure safe operations and compliance 
  • Partner with leadership to advise on EHS risks, strategy, and performance 
  • Lead, mentor, and align regional EHS teams across multiple locations 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 10+ years of EHS experience (flexible for high-impact candidates) 
  • Strong background in manufacturing safety (required) 
  • Experience leading multi-site or regional EHS programs 
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance 
  • Proven ability to drive safety culture and influence across all levels 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or related field preferred  
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills 
  • High-energy, self-driven leader with a “builder” mindset 
  • Ability to travel: 20–25%
