Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees warehouse employees to achieve departmental business objectives including safety, quality, productivity, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Some weekend availability is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel and support hourly employees with needs and concerns as required.
- Address employee performance: commend positive behaviors and correct negative behaviors.
- Utilize structured problem-solving techniques to address opportunities and engage staff for improvement ideas.
- Apply workplace organization practices to optimize layout and efficiency.
- Perform daily updates in the timekeeping system to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Use standardized reporting formats to document problem-solving activities.
- Lead daily meetings to discuss business performance and facilitate two-way discussions with employees.
- Conduct and document weekly safety observation tours in assigned departments.
- Proactively plan daily workloads.
- Support team members to maximize overall shift performance.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and enforce workplace rules.
- Conduct daily Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) audit checks.
- Focus on professional growth through an Individual Development Plan (IDP).
- Keep management informed about all relevant activities and developments.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with technology used in area of assignment.
- Experience with scheduling and other management systems.
- High level of analytical ability for solving complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate, motivate, and drive team performance.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required; 1–2 years of technical or business school training preferred.
- Training in a skilled trade or equivalent technical training strongly encouraged.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required.
