Shifts & Pay

  • Base Pay: $35.27 per hour
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (+$0.60/hr shift premium)
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (+$0.75/hr shift premium)
  • Relocation assistance is available for this role.


Responsibilities

  • Plan setup and operation of all types of machine shop tools, considering material types, tolerances, cutting tools, coolants, lubricants, machine tool feeds, and speeds
  • Perform weld repair and heat treatment of various materials, including tool steels
  • Determine inspection specifications using precision measuring and gauging tools; perform inspections before, during, and after machining
  • Perform hand operations involved in producing jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies
  • Fit and assemble jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies
  • Set up, test, and troubleshoot dies to ensure products meet specifications
  • Trace die difficulties to their source and correct issues
  • Tear down, repair, and reassemble tooling on the bench or in the press as needed


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Journeyman Card OR 8 years of verifiable experience in the field
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Metal stamping and manufacturing experience preferred
