Role

We are seeking a Construction/Heavy Industrial Project Manager to join our Projects Team. In this role, you will be responsible to manage select scopes to an acceptable outcome, as it relates to quality, cost and schedule. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services from third-party vendors while maintaining alignment with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The role is based at our Reno office (location flexible) office and reports to the Senior Project Director. Occasional travel to other offices, project sites, or vendor locations may be required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project planning: Define project goals, scope, and create detailed project plans with timelines and budgets.
  • Team leadership: Lead and motivate the project team, assign tasks, and ensure everyone is aligned with project goals.
  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members; provide regular updates on progress.
  • Risk and issue management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Quality control: Ensure that the project's deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Resource management: Allocate and manage all project resources, including personnel, equipment, and finances.
  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships across all teams while championing a culture that reflects and supports our Purpose, Vision, and Values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 5–7 years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple vendors, contractors, and service providers in complex, multi-phase projects.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, procurement, and contract management processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
